George Clooney, The LEGO Movie and Jim Henson Publishing

I've had my head down learning new computer skills for the past few days (and buying a new dryer since my old one decided that the middle of a snowy, cold winter would be a good time to give up the ghost). Still, I always have my ear to the ground, so here's what has interested me lately.

I loved (LOVED) the George Clooney interview on David Letterman the other night. The video isn't up on the Letterman YouTube channel, but here's a link to the iTonight version. Lots of smiles (it's a long video, but fun).

The LEGO Movie is getting great reviews.

The Monuments Men is out (Cate Blanchett, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, just for starters. What's not to like)?

And the Jim Henson Company has formed an internal publishing division. Awesome! Jim Henson's vision lives on.

  1. I saw that interview with Letterman last night too. Quite enjoyable. Always a lovely (quirky) smile....

  2. My daughter wants to go & see The LEGO movie.

  3. Mary, it looks kind of cute and funny. I saw the actor who plays the lead on one of the talk shows, and he kept emphasizing that it was meant for children and adults alike. No movies for me this weekend, though (it's supposed to snow again).
