Some Google Highlights

We've talked about the Google Doodles here a number of times before, and of course, now and then Google comes up with something really fun and different (okay, more often than now and then). Buzzfeed put together a video of some of the Google Secrets. We've already discussed a number of these (not all), but it made me smile to remember ones I had forgotten about. I'd forgotten about Atari Breakout. It was addictive (but fun).

And then, of course, there's Google Space

Have fun with a trip down Google's memory lane!

Like Bob Hope said/sang, "Thanks for the memories!" Most enjoyable. Yes, I too had forgotten some. I have Google as my home page, so I only miss the ones when my computer isn't working (hopefully not often, wink wink nod nod).
Happy Friday!

Laney4, I used to have Google as my homepage, but then I switched to Google News (and there are days when I think that may be a mistake, since the news is often...not a soothing way to start the day). And once all the search engines started allowing you to write search terms in the URL box, I stopped going directly to the Google home page, so I do miss things. I have to remind myself to hop on over there now and then, because as the years have gone by, they seem to put the interesting doodles up more often. (I may have to switch that back to my home page).

Jeesh. I didn't even know there was such a thing as "Google News", so thanks for the heads up. I just went to the Canadian web site and decided immediately it wasn't for me. Way too much negativity (and I don't want to hear/read anything more on Mayor Rob Ford, either!). I would be distracted every time I opened my home page up, which is more than a dozen times per day.
