It's Autumn, Time for Some Special Flowers

I think that one of the most wonderful things about autumn is that it forces me to reflect on what I have and how I would miss certain things if they disappeared. It's the time of year when the grass stops growing, the leaves on the trees drop to the ground and everything eventually seems to...stop. I know that it will be months before spring shows up to pick up the baton and continue the race.

But before all of that happens (the stopping, that is), it's as if nature wants to go out with a huge finale, a big wonderful show of color, just to top things off, to help us remember how glorious life is and that we should never take it for granted.

So today I'm calling on some Flickr photographers to demonstrate some of that awesome color and life. Please click through on the source links beneath the photos to see more of the photographers' work.
