Thank Goodness for Waterfalls!

It's been very hot in most of the U.S. lately, so I've been thinking about waterfalls. A lot. Just keeping those images in my mind makes me feel cooler. And yes, they're beautiful, too.

And two of my personal favorites:

Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge
Multnomah Falls

Bond Falls (Upper Peninsula in Michigan)

They are beautiful!!

I could have done with a touch of heat yesterday. We had such a bitterly cold & windy day. Today is much warmer thank goodness and the winds have died down to a lighter roar.

I just got back from a week's trip (I had my posts preset) and hiked to quite a few waterfalls. It was a bit brisk in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, too. One of the few places in the U.S. that wasn't hot. I hope you're catching some warmer breezes now!
