In Case You Missed Today's Google Doodle

I miss a lot of Google's Doodles lately (I'm always typing my search terms in the URL box now that we can do that). But today's is so awesome. It's the 161st birthday of Julius Richard Petri, and if you click on the play button on your Google search page, a hand swabs the Petri dishes and grows stuff in them. How cool is that? (I really have to check in on Google Search more often).

Oh, and if you pass the cursor over each petri dish after the bacteria have grown, you'll see an animated image showing the source of the bacteria (a smelly sock, a doorknob, a keyboard...).

By the way, if you ever want to go back and see Doodles you've missed, you can access the Museum of Google Doodles (all Doodles going back to 1998) at your leisure.
