Creativity Takes Time

I know people who can write anywhere (on a train, in an airport, surrounded by people) even when they only have tiny scraps of time. That's never worked for me.  I need a chunk of time to think, to plan, to get into the story. All those things (noise,  movement, lack of time) distract me and keep me from moving forward.

Plus, as a teacher, I could see how different children reacted differently to their environment in terms of creativity. So, I loved this 2011 video. Such creative kids!

Great way to prove a point!

I liked how in a relatively short video we could see the difference in results.
