This is What Family is All About

If you're not from the U.S. (and I know that some of you aren't), our universities are divided into athletic conferences. The oldest is The Big Ten. It's a prestigious conference, and to be an athlete with The Big Ten, one has to have superior abilities. The University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois is one of those schools, and the Big Ten television network is televising a series called The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2012. This is a clip. It tells the story of two brothers who lost their father when they were young. Bailey, only 22 months older than Meyers, became a father figure for Myers. Now Bailey is a marine in Afghanistan, and Meyers is playing Big Ten basketball. Here's what happened when Bailey returned home unannounced and showed up at a practice.

I bawled my eyes out watching this! Should I thank you? I'm not sure, LOL!

I have to admit that I just watched it again. And cried again. I'm glad you enjoyed it, too.
