Some Images from My Trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, Maine

We were there for 6 days, and with the exception of one day, the weather was mostly perfect. I was glad for the one day, though, because we got to see the waves crashing against the shore. The second image was taken on the Schoodic Peninsula, the third was from the Jessup trail and the last two were from hikes in the Bubble Rock/Jordan pond area (just in case anyone is thinking of going to Acadia). We've been there many times and we always find something new to do each time. But we also repeat some of our old favorites, such as walking over to Bar Island when the tide is out, over a stretch of sand that is underwater when the tide comes in again.

Wonderful, Myrna, wonderful. Relaxing yet exciting too. What more could you ask for?

It was one of the best trips we've taken, even though it was far from the first time we'd visited Maine. And the great thing was that I didn't come home with that "I need a vacation to get over my vacation" feeling.
