A LEGO Candy Machine

This is a LEGO candy machine that the builder created when he was about 12 or 13. I don't know what he's doing now, but if I had to guess, I'd say engineer or inventor (or entrepreneur).

Update: I don't know why I was assuming the video maker was an adult. I looked at his YouTube channel and he's still quite young. I'm sure he has a successful future ahead if he can build something this clever and detailed.

I like how well this process was explained to us. A glaring negative (to me), though, would be that there isn't much storage room provided. If he had two customers in a row for the same item, he'd have to take the candy machine away to refill it before the second customer could insert the nickel. I also had no idea there were "locking mechanisms" available for Lego. Huh! Learn something new every day!

I never knew about the locking mechanisms, either. I'm wondering if he didn't repurpose pieces to invent his own. (Or maybe I just didn't watch that part that carefully).
