Breaking Old Habits

In this animation by Daniel Erhart, a man used to typing on a manual typewriter is dragged into the computer age when his typewriter breaks, but he's clearly a bit confused about how a computer works.

Sorry I'm late to the post. Will probably not be on again until Monday after this. I miss you guys!
Watched the video. Weird ending. Expected to see what happened when the mail was delivered to the recipient. Oh well.
Brought back memories of days long gone, although I DO still have an electronic typewriter beside me - good for filling out forms, typing on manilla envelopes (rather than labels), and just a few words here or there. Not much use otherwise, I fear.

We've missed you, too! But having just had to apologize to a bunch of correspondents I was really late on responding to, I totally understand. There just aren't enough hours in the day sometimes.

I just got rid of my electric typewriter a couple of years ago. Most of the forms I used have been scanned into online forms I can fill out (have no idea how to do that, but I'm glad someone else can). and it was just gathering dust. Still, I was fond of it...
