This is What It Looks Like When 42 St. Bernards Go for a Walk
This is from a kennel, Lasquite's Reg St. Bernards, on Lasqueti Island, BC Canada. They took all the dogs on a walk on the bluffs to run and play off leash. The child is the owner's 2-year-old son.
Thankfully, the St. Bernards didn't seem too rambuctious. Wow. 42, eh? I would hope the forest area is closed in at some point, but at least they stayed in groups, plus I think they wanted to be near the little boy to make sure he was okay.
I don't know anyone who has a St. Bernard, but I've read that they're very tolerant of children (probably part of why they were used in rescues). I also knew nothing about the island, but I looked it up and it's very interesting. Kind of a throwback with no paved roads and no electricity from the power company (although some people use solar power). You can only get there via foot passenger ferry or by private plane or boat. About 350 people live there.

BIG dogs & a small child: it has disaster written all over it.
