What can I say? When I was a kid, I was fascinated when film was run in reverse. I guess some of that fascination still holds true, because I enjoyed this cute film. It doesn't hurt that they've used the song Brazil as background music.
When my sister's son was about 2, they took him to the park and videotaped him going down a slide. My sister "caught" him at the bottom, but they kept playing the video in reverse so that it looked like she threw him up the slide to his dad. My, I laughed buckets at that in the early eighties.
It always felt like some sort of miracle happening back when I was six. Even today, I like trying to figure out how they engineered the shots. The ones in the video above are pretty simple, but I've seen some elaborate setups that involved a lot of planning to get the finished product the filmmaker wanted.
