A Useful Invention (for the Young)

There are probably a number of us here who don't need to try MIT AgeLab's Age Gain Now Empathy System (AGNES), but I can see how it would be useful for scientists or even younger people (caregivers, those who work with the elderly) in order to see what it's like to age.

For more information, visit MIT's AgeLab.

OMG. At 52, I'm already there! I guess "misery loves company"....

Part of me wonders why you would want to try this before "your time," since nature will take care of things soon enough. But I see the practical value of having people who work with the elderly experience what their patients/charges go through. Might create more of an empathy bond.
