I too still watch all the versions whenever turning channels while rewinding (as I rarely watch "live" tv and instead watch my recorded shows). I like to watch the characters' progression/familiarity with each other, as well as see all those poor guys in red shirts get "taken out" on the original show, LOL. I see that last one made honorable mention at the end of the list. Whew!
There's something very comforting about watching Star Trek. It's a bit like watching a family that happens to have awesome powers and is often more honorable than most of us are in real life (And Elaine, I rarely watch anything live, either. I like to be able to choose when I watch and skip the commercials...except for the commercials that are clever or amusing).
